Grants and funding for community groups and individuals

The Community Builders NSW site has a number of funding opportunities and grants for community groups and individuals that are closing soon.

Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Grants - Applications close 27 February 2009
$2 million in new funding is available each year to support non-Government organisations' projects that prevent or minimise the impact of domestic and family violence. The funding is administered by the Violence Prevention Coordination Unit in Office for Women's Policy, Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Last night she helped to organise a fundraising dinner for the centre at Parliament House. I was lucky to be asked to host the event.
