PARRAMATTA HIT BY O'FARRELL JOB CUTS

100 TRANSPORT WORKERS FACE THREAT OF SACK

More than 100 workers at the Parramatta office of Transport for NSW face the threat of the axe with the O'Farrell Government moving to purge dozens of positions, Opposition Leader John Robertson said on a visit to Parramatta today.

O'FARRELL SWINGS THE AXE ON 350 TRANSPORT JOBS

NSW Opposition Leader John Robertson has demanded the O'Farrell Government guarantee no services will be affected by the huge job cuts announced today by his Transport and Roads Ministers. 

"The Premier must explain how he will cut 350 positions from Transport and Roads departments without affecting services," Mr Robertson said.
