The Golden GLORIA for the worst comment of the year went to Jim Wallace from the Australian Christian Lobby for his winning comments in the religion category:

"Just hope that as we remember Servicemen and women today we remember the Australia they fought for - wasn't gay marriage and Islamic"

Mr Wallace has apologised for this tweet but he also won for saying that expelling a gay child from a school for being gay was a loving response.

Sport: Jason Akermanis for his comments saying that gay AFL players should not come out.
